Wine Vision by Open Balkan, the leading regional wine, food, and tourism fair, has been officially recognized as a UFI Approved Event by UFI—The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, the world’s most important organization in the exhibition sector.
The UFI Approved Event label is a globally respected mark of quality awarded to exhibitions that meet clearly defined international standards and have their key figures—such as total net exhibition space, number of exhibitors, and number of visits or visitors—independently audited.
With this recognition, Wine Vision by Open Balkan becomes the first and only wine, food, and tourism fair in Serbia and the Western Balkans to hold the UFI Approved Event status, underlining its role as the central marketplace and networking hub for the wine, rakija, and gastronomy industries in this part of Europe.
Organized at Belgrade Fair, a long-standing UFI member and one of the most important exhibition venues in Southeast Europe, Wine Vision by Open Balkan each year gathers hundreds of wineries, distilleries, food producers, tourism organizations, and HoReCa professionals from dozens of countries, combining a strong B2B focus with a rich program for the general public.
The UFI label will further strengthen the international positioning of Wine Vision by Open Balkan and support its mission to promote the wine and rakija scenes of Serbia and the wider Open Balkan region, connect regional producers with buyers, importers, and distributors from key global markets, and develop Belgrade into a recognized regional hub for the wine and gastronomy industry.
